Tyler Fisher
Coach U16 Elite
Tyler was born and raised in Calgary, AB and is proud to have been involved in the basketball community both as a player and as a coach for the majority of his life. Most recently he spent his collegiate career playing basketball at Ambrose University College from 2003-2007, leading the Lions to an undefeated season and captaining the Lions in his final year.
He has been coaching basketball at various levels for the past 10 years: CMBA, High School, Club basketball, Basketball Alberta (where he led Basketball Alberta’s team Calgary to gold medals in 2002 and 2010), as well as Collegiate. Currently, Tyler is the Head Coach of the Men’s Basketball team at Ambrose University College and is also working toward completing his Bachelor of Education degree.
With a philosophy that predicates hard work, discipline, and teamwork, Tyler’s goal is that each player will realize his and her potential and understand that what they do as an individual and teammate on the court now will make for a solid foundation in every arena of their lives going forward.
