Coach Maki Akinkunmi
Maki joined CYDC in 2018, quickly developing a sharp basketball IQ and a reputation for his strong defense. His time in the program helped him build the discipline and work ethic that fueled his success on and off the court. A dedicated computer science student, Maki is now heading to the University of Victoria. He’s eager to give back to CYDC by sharing his love for the game and helping younger players elevate their skills, especially on the defensive end.
