Coach Tobi Akinkunmi
Tobi is another remarkable product of the CYDC Panthers family. Playing on the U15, U16, and U17/18 Hegwood Elite team, Tobi was able to make key contributions in many tournament championships in places like Houston and Utah. Coming into the program when he was in grade nine, Tobi was a very raw talent and did not have much skill going for him. However, with many hours in the gym and guidance from our amazing coaching staff, in the short span of three years he was able to transform himself into a college prospect; signing with the UBC Thunderbirds in the summer of 2020.
